The Mitchell Ranch, home of Mitchell Cattle Co., Mitchells Mountain Beef and Chinook Cove Golf, borders the North Thompson River forty miles north of Kamloops. Our family owned and operated Ranch has been dedicated to raising quality cattle for more than 75 years.
Our cows spend the winters at home in the North Thompson Valley and in summer migrate to the surrounding mountain pastures up to 7400 feet in elevation. In 1970 we began developing a purebred herd by importing Simmental Genetics from Germany and later adding a complementary herd of Red Angus.
We started our first annual "Best Bet Bull Sale" in April 2008, selling 40 bulls. As Mitchells Mountain Beef we continue to sell quality beef products to the Delta Hotel in Sun Peaks, through our local AG Foods store and directly from home.
